Software installed in more than 190,000 robots worldwide

  • Organizational Owner

    Product Management
  • Challenge

The company had more than 100,000 downloads of trial software per year with little intelligence on how (or if) it was used. It had no data on what functions were used most (or least). There was a history of piracy releases, but Product Management and Engineering wanted to track beta and trial download adoption in addition to detailed feature use. The Company had already implemented a license management solution but had no way to centrally gather product usage data.

  • Solution

The customer integrated CodeArmor Intelligence for usage reporting and extended the central dashboard to collect and report on individual feature use, session time, and level of license enabled.

  • Results

The company has received product use data across 18, 500 machines and in excess of 3,000 organizations after successfully deployment in their beta and general releases.
