Lewis is a consultant in the intellectual property practice based in the Shanghai
office. He was admitted as solicitor in Hong Kong in 2000 and joined Simmons & Simmons
in November 2007. He specializes in patent and other intellectual property litigation.
He also has a broad range of experience in commercial intellectual property across
various industries, including life sciences and TMT sectors.
He is the Vice-Chairman of the IP Working Group (Shanghai) of the European Union
Chamber of Commerce in China and has actively participated in lobbying the PRC Government
on laws and regulations relevant to IP owners.
He is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars on IP and competition issues.
He has also contributed articles to the Journal of Intellectual Property, Bloomberg
Asia Pacific Law Journal and other trade journals. He is fluent in English, Mandarin
and Cantonese.
