CodeArmor Intelligence

CodeArmor Intelligence

CodeArmor Intelligence is a software platform that enables software providers to recover revenue from unpaid software by creating actionable intelligence on the use and misuse of their applications. The CodeArmor platform enables software providers to incorporate usage data collection, location tracking, and misuse detection capabilities directly into their applications as well as own, manage, and act on the resulting intelligence within a flexible SaaS infrastructure.

Unlike software protection or Digital Rights Management, CodeArmor Intelligence can be integrated and deployed without impact to existing customers or the development lifecycle. It works seamlessly with existing license enforcement systems including Flexera, SafeNet, Reprise, WIBU, IBM LUM, and other third party and home-grown systems.

CodeArmor Intelligence Dashboard

An application built on the Salesforce.com Force.com platform allows software providers to easily and securely view, filter, report and manage their software usage and misuse data collected by CodeArmor. The dashboard relies on the scalable, secure, and multi-tenant Salesforce.com SaaS platform. Once provisioned, access control and management of the data is in complete control of the software provider. It can be installed as a standalone compliance dashboard or within the Salesforce.com CRM application for tighter integration. The dashboard includes geographic analytics as well as a process to escalate actionable usage data into compliance or sales leads.

Data Collection

CodeArmor Intelligence’s data collection capabilities have been optimized to detect and identify organizations and to collect information on application use. Data collection focuses on organization level identification and not on individuals. The application can be configured to collect application use and misuse data including: machine environment data, operating system specifics, virtual machine use, network environment, custom application feature use data, file integrity data, as well as data to determine the number of unique machines and history of use. The specific information to be collected is highly configurable to support our customers’ deployment needs and adherence to their own privacy policies. Please refer to our technology platform privacy policy for more information.
