Abhi is a Managing Director in PwC’s Licensing Management & Contract Compliance practice and has over 15 years of experience in software license compliance, software asset management and business consulting.  Over the last decade, Abhi has helped a number of software companies build and operate license compliance programs focused on end-user customers and channel partners and has helped companies recover millions of dollars of revenue and curb revenue leakage through product innovations and contract modifications.

He is a globally recognized leader in software licensing compliance and is a regular speaker at various industry forums and conferences.  He has also authored a number of thought leadership articles that talk about trends in software licensing, software asset management principles, impact of emerging technologies such as virtualization and cloud computing and other related topics.

Abhi has a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA with emphasis on Management Information Systems.  He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Certified ISO 19770-1 SAM standard professional.

Diverse technological and investigative experience informs Charlie's current role as Lead License Compliance Investigator for ANSYS corporation, where he is responsible for infringement case management - from detection to investigation, analysis to lead-building, and monetization strategy to resolution.

Drawing on the technical expertise of a kid raised with a Commodore 64 and an undergraduate degree in Social Work from Auburn University, he began his career in the non-profit sector applying new technological solutions to long-standing social issues.  During this period he was awarded national recognition from the Department of Housing and Urban Development for groundbreaking work combating discriminatory mortgage lending and home insurance practices.  Later as the lead developer on a custom CRM and order management application for Ansoft  he developed a ground-up grasp of  ISV business rules and enterprise software licensing mechanics.

Since 2009 he has synthesized these skillsets to envision and implement a successful compliance program for ANSYS, featuring a 75% conversion rate and a unique approach to enforcement that emphasizes customer retention and satisfaction.

Broadly recognized as an expert in building a comprehensive business-oriented response to product piracy, Richard currently leads Adobe's company-wide strategy to expand the business through conversion from piracy.  This includes guiding the efforts to "understand" the pirate-consumer's activities and attitudes, suppressing piracy through corrective actions, and competing better with piracy through increased value proposition across all elements of the business.

A C-level executive with 25+ years leading world-class teams, Richard's prior roles included CTO and technology innovator for famed Walt Disney Imagineering, CIO & VP for Disney Studios, and Chief Communications Technologist for Northrop Grumman. Specialized consultant in establishing programs to counter cyber-threat.

Victor DeMarines brings extensive security product management and marketing experience to V.i. Labs, where he is responsible for product strategy and direction. He is a frequent speaker and author on topics including piracy, reverse engineering and the protection of intellectual property. Victor was previously a senior product manager at RSA Security where he drove product strategy for the company's strong authentication, Smart Card, and enterprise Single Sign-On client products. Prior to RSA, Victor was the director of product management at Authentica (now EMC) where he was instrumental in defining product strategy and direction for Authentica’s enterprise rights management and secure email solutions. Before Authentica, Victor held senior product management positions at AXENT Technologies (now Symantec) and Progress Software, a global supplier of software technology and services.
